My beloved cat, Ernest, got out the basement window and hasn't been seen since.
I got another cat yesterday. He was rescued from the Bullitt County, KY (un)humane society on his kill day by a vet clinic in Louisville. They was holding an adopt-a-thon to find homes for all the animals they had picked up from BC.
