Too easy. We must prove our adoration by dealing with the most unpleasant of chores.

I have my 15 lb Maine Coon convinced i will strangle him if he barfs in the bed. It is not true but he believes it. We have had disputes leading to hand to hand about whether he can slt on my chest in the middle of the night. And a night or so ago he and the dog chose to fight it out in my pubic area.

While we serve there are limits. On to the floor with pillow following.

My male cat vomited today all over my lovely aqua wool rug. It was more liquid than not....I got up what I could but had to leave for an appt.

Now it's just wet, pink yuk all down into the wool. Thinking of waiting until it dries to see if it's easier to clean....moist as it is now just sticks like glue to rug fibers.

How would you clean it??

Get "Nature's Miracle" Enzymatic Formula Stain and Odor remover. Their recommendations are to daub up as much as you can first, then spray the formula on the area, making sure it is soaked through and leave it for 10 minutes and daub it up. For really tough stains you spray it on and let it sit until it dries.

Our late Tucker would often puke in our bed in the middle of the night! I still keep rags in my nightstand . . .Ugh, sure don't miss that.

How's your cat? Is this just one of those cat things that happens or is something wrong?
Pick out the excess and try Woolite in a test area.
I have used Nature's miracle and also Dr. Bronners with success. Hope kii is okay!!

Oh he's ok...even got an A at the vet...just "normal" vomiting! Thanks for asking...

Letting it dry after picking up what I could helped a lot.
Then vacuum then cleaned with Dawn and cold water.

I LOVE your screen name, earslikeacat....

Vomiting isn't normal. Think about your cat. Would YOU want to vomit daily, weekly, or monthly, and have it considered normal?
