Yes, I got Jasper, he was declawed when I got him. On all four paws.

I am not sure if any vets here even declaw...

I know... believe me I know. She pushed every button we have. I didn't want to cause a scene. People were already glancing our way. I believe it would have escalated with her very quickly. It was screamingly obvious to us that her furniture and the appearance of her home (no cat condos or scratching posts) meant more to her than the welfare of her 3 month old kitten. Appearances you know. She has to impress all her retired "gated community" friends. This was down in Ocala FL. I'm sure she considered anything that would be related to the cat such as posts or condos as low-class and tacky. She wouldn't have them in her house. She admitted knowing the negative aspects of mutilating the cat's paws. Trying to reason with a spoiled pampered silver haired old dowager dripping jewelry is a waste of time. I can only wonder what kind of life that poor cat has when any though of it's physical or emotional comfort is a totally ignored by a selfish old woman.

This kitten won't be a loving companion to this woman, but rather one of her possessions. I feel very sorry for the cat.
