Look at him....intently focused on SOMETHING outside the window - and I love the towels you put down so it'll be more comfortable for him to lay on!!! I've had our windows open here lately and the kids are going nuts watching the birds and squirrels, even the air must smell different to them - they sure get their furry panties in a twist!!!
In this pic - he doesn't look overweight to me at all, btw. I trust that his grandparents met and fell in love with him over the weekend? Maybe he's watching for them to come back!!!!

Black, very slimming.

He really is intent on something out there. Birds maybe? Squirrel? Another cat? Or maybe the memory of any of those. (Having seen them before seems to make them anticipate seeing them there again.)

When Nimbus does this, we say he is "watching his favorite show." What a lucky kitty that his favorite show is almost always on.

The other night there was a moth out by our porch light, we usually get bombarded with hordes of these "Miller" moths every spring here in Colorado, and they're just starting to show up now. Well he was so excited about his moth that I couldn't bring myself to shut off the light when I went to bed, even though I usually do to save energy...I left it on so he could moth-watch. Anything to make my little fuzzbaby happy!

Birds. There are so many birds around here and all different kinds. He makes this crazy chirpity sound....e ee e e e. It is so weird. But he loves it. He wanted to get up there so I went ahead and opened the windows for him and he sat up there for quite a bit!

His grandparents did meet him and they loved him!!! =)

KK is handsome as always! You must feel so much more secure knowing he's keeping an eye on things.

Cookie makes a chirping noise when she's in the window watching the birds -- I have a strategically placed bird feeder just a few yards from their favorite window.

If she's trying to get the birds to think she's one of them, I don't think they're fooled.
