This past weekend my boyfriend was tickling me and I was mildly screaming and yelling "owwww". My cat came charging from the other side of the house to jump on him and bite him until I stopped squealing. We tried it a few more times and the cat always came flying in to jump on and bite him. I find this totally endearing and really unusual behavior for a cat.

My last cat would attack any other animal that would enter my bedroom at night but this is different.

Has anyone else ever had an "attack" cat?

I've had an 'attack cat', but he'd attack anyone, including me! He grew out of it.

Well, I'd like to think they would if they thought they had a reason.
For a long time, we had one cat and two dogs. Patty didn't want the dogs anywhere near her. Then we got a kitten who liked to play with dogs, which Patty didn't understand at all. Even though she didn't like the kitten either, more than once I had to stop her from attacking the dog in earnest, thinking her bratty brother was in trouble. It really was touching that she'd do that, considering how she felt about him.
