Hi I had a cat that was a beautifull white almost syimies that had 6 toes, last night I found her on the poutch and brought her inside, she was missing for about 2 days, when I got her inside I noticed she was walking in circils and walking into stuff I was thinking she went blind and it had me in tears I couldn't find any thing that could explain why she was like this her eyes were looking in oposite directions seemed like she was deaf in her right ear and had lost a lot of wieght. I made sure she was comfurtable before I went to bed and thought I would deal with it in the morning and when I woke up I found her were I put her and she wasn't breathing at about 10 this morning I was wondering what causes this and why...? I don't know what happen to her and it makes me very sad I couldn't help her.
Or possibley she was hit by a car and had brain damage. Either way, that's the chance outside cats have. I am sorry for your loss, it's never easy even when they are old and sick. She is now happy and healthy, running the great fields of the sky.

You have 2 good possibilities and those would have been my thoughts. That is why mine never go outside... stories just like this repeated over and over.. It is so sad and I am really sorry for your loss.. I know what it is like to loose one for any reason.
This behavior sounds a lot like what happened to my friend cat Simon. He was walking around circles, cross-eyed, and would get seizures. Turned out it was a brain tumor.
