...which is partly where her name originated from! When Weasie first arrived at my home she was in her "gangly adolescent" stage. Her legs and tail were fully developed but the rest of her hadn't caught up. She didn't methodically patrol around the house to explore her territory, she raced from room to room. That skinny late-stage kitten was behaving less like a cat than like a mongoose...or weasel. Between that and the Isabel Sanford television character naming her was a cinch! (Hence the spelling.)
