Care to try your luck? If you happen to live there or are familiar with the city, perhaps you could let others have a go before you give away the answer too soon.
Downtown money shot - in a few years that huge empty area will be beautiful parkland.
Ok, I'll venture a guess and say Kingston, ON. I see a river with islands, so I'll guess those are Thousand Islands. I've been to Alexandria, NY on the other side of the river, and probably passed through Kingston one time, but I never have been into the town. Am I close?
The architecture and landscape definitely scream Ontario. Where in Ontario? I have no idea. Definitely not the Ottawa area. I'd say closer to the Parry Sound area.
Duh. How embarrassing for me. I live near there and even I didn't know it was the Bay. I was going to guess it though, because they are doing a redevelopment of the waterfront; but I guessed Orillia. The big water in the background is Lake Nipissing. I didn't know they had smaller bodies of water in the city or that the highway drove pass any lakefront, as the images depict. The second last pic would be Canadore College, I think.
Good job! Yep, it's North Bay, the city lies between Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake, and that is indeed the joint campus of Canadore College and Nipissing University in the second last pic.
