I really want to move to Cali. I am looking for a city with good size population/ or close to a big city, and housing prices are reasonable. If weather is good, that would be perfect. Where you want recommend? Thank you.

Not the most vague question I've ever read, but it's up there.

Anywhere in CA near a big city is going to seem unreasonable compared to where you're used to, unless you live in the NYC metro. This is because California is considered a destination location to outsiders. If nobody wanted to live here, it wouldn't be more expensive than any other major metro area besides NYC. So if it's popular, then there must be a great reason, right? Well, it depends. You definitely get some things and not others. You don't get either a great public transport system or an effective freeway network. You don't get quality public schools in areas affordable to the middle class (this is a fairly new development). You don't get governmental stability and competence. But you do get a marvelous climate, lots of natural beauty, and a host of other things which will depend on the specific area.

Need more information:

What color is your car?
Is your mom's social security number evenly divisible by 17?

Weather is good almost all over the state. Nothing is reasonable near a big city. Stay where you are, you will be happier.

The only people actually coming into CA are illegal immigrants, as they get free govt handouts. The average people with families (middle class) are leaving CA.

But if you do come, make sure you don't have a black car as they are illegal.

He's closer to the truth than you'll ever admit. California has been a net loser of population within the US for a few years now. Our population growth comes from births and international immigration, legal and otherwise.

What do you mean by "housing prices are reasonable," if you don't mind the desert then you can get what is considered reasonable in Riverside region and Temecula region (i.e. $100 per sq ft).
