Great.

Will Herr Newsom shut us down again, or has he learned that doesn't work?

Of course I see it's San Francisco. That was one of the two big cities I would have expected.

Next up are more travel restrictions and in-person schooling being cut short for 2021.

Nope. Just gonna let the unvaxxed get sick and sometimes die this time around. Natural selection. Be glad! We finally get a pro-intelligence genetic filter!

Wait and see how things play out over a bit more time. It's still not known whether this variant can dethrone the Delta variant as the dominant variant.

He's been uncharacteristically quiet on this, and I'm not sure what to make of it. Hopefully he has moved beyond lockdowns and mask mandates, but I doubt it.

I hope you're right. The anti-vaxxers vote against him anyways, so you'd think this would be a good strategy for him.

Mild symptoms that are improving. This has gotten so absurd it’s laughable. I’m now convinced people still buying into this are doubling down because they don’t want to admit to getting played.

Yes it’s real, and yes vaccines can help those at risk that catch covid, but we all should be wise by now to government and media driven fear.

I don't have a crystal ball.....but, my thinking is we are beyond lock downs. Perhaps Newsom is being "uncharacteristically quite" is because still not enough is known regarding this new variant.
Report/s out of South Africa that I saw stated "mild symptoms" and unusual symptoms......on the other hand, rising hospitalizations also being reported......so, the situation is a bit muddled

I don’t know if I’d be holding my breath (or wearing my mask) waiting for that to happen? At its worst before vaccines the mortality rate was under 1% for those who caught it. This doesn’t include the fact over 75% that required hospitalization or worse were obese? Or other at risk factors? Or those who died with covid (and not from covid) got added to the figures?

Speaking of the unvaxxed (I’m vaccinated, FYI) have you read the Israeli study of over 800K people that shows natural immunity to be stronger than the vaccines? Why wouldn’t this be news of joy and spread throughout all media outlets? IDK, call me a skeptic, but why the need to keep getting shots? Who could possibly be benefiting from this?
