Interesting. I wouldn't count Uyghur or Tibetan as Chinese dialects though, as those languages are from different language groups and don't even use Chinese characters, even though (some of) the people do live within China.

Hakka, Wu and Fuzhou/Fuchow are Chinese dialects.

In South Africa Afrikaans is spoken by both Whites and mixed race Cape Coloureds. South Africans are a modest immigrant group and most speak English, including many Anglos and Jews.

The US is increasingly a huge destination for African immigration but less so to California. There are Ethiopian enclaves in LA and Oakland and Nigerians have decent numbers in the LA metro and Inland Empire but not enclave.

Observations: Tamil and Telugu, and Hindi to a degree are centered in the Silicon Valley, Punjabi speakers more in cheaper inland areas, especially Central Valley, and Guajarati (huge Indian group on the East Coast) unique in that it's speakers are concentrated in Socal, LA and OC, more than the Silicon Valley.
