Mine were very cold-like. I had a low-mid fever for a few days and congestion. The congestion continued for about another week after the fever disappeared. Very typical symptoms for a bad winter cold (this is a coronavirus after all)...

Major stuffiness that hangs on a LONG time (drippy nose, post nasal drip, constant clearing of throat, with dry cough at first, then deep hacking tiring cough (scary) with white mucus that gets worse days 5-10 into it...on average lasts around 2 to 3 weeks (give or take)...

When did you get it? People catching it before spring of this year typically had worse symptoms. The people I know that have had it since late spring all had much milder symptoms than those that got it before, particularly pre-Omicron.

We never got it before...always been very careful.. My elderly mom has been doing aerobics outside since pandemic...they just moved inside a few weeks ago...she didn't tell me...immediately caught it there.. TERRIBLE new aerobics room...low ceiling, stuffy, no ventilation (like a subway), nobody wears masks...and yes, one fessed up showed up with symptoms a few days before mom caught it (and gave it to bro and myself). We are all 4x vaxxed...luckily finally getting better...after 2 long weeks so far of deep hacking (scary) cough. Taking her out of that class pronto...stoked to have found a morning OUTSIDE yoga class which will be the only way now! Covid is NO JOKE!

That's all I had, just tired. No fever, no aches, didn't feel sick, just tired. My 84 year old mom had the same symptoms.

That's much worse than any of us had. And it was over in 3-5 days.

Did you ever get covid before? We didn't till now...I hear the first time is the worst with repeat infections being less severe. Is this true for those that got it multiple times? Wondering if all that have (only 3 day symptoms now) got it before or is this their first time like us? It really really sucks for us right now first time 14 days into it stuffed up wth deep hacking coughs but finally getting better!

First time can be bad. Repeat infections in rapid succession are believed to be bad.

No this is our first time. My mom was vaxxed, I wasn't, but we had the same symptoms.

I'll see if that is that case with unvaxxed sister when she gets it as it looks like all will get it at some point...thankful we got the shots as we only had "mild" symptoms per the ER...still brutal deep cough/stuffiness for a solid 2 weeks (one of the worst viruses we've ever gotten)...beginning to very slowly get better now into week 3.
