There's still a roller rink and miniature golf in Ventura.

San Jose Sharks are such a big deal around these parts, that Sharks Ice at San Jose is a very popular attraction for many uses and ages. Which some might think is weird for a place with weather like we have, but there are nevertheless a lot of ice skating enthusiasts, as well as indoor and outdoor roller hockey rinks and leagues around the South Bay.

and ice skating in Oxnard. I would say the massive amounts of population have kept all the facilities profitable.

The Davis area almost lost their only roller skating rink. However, a couple families and a non-profit group saved it and got it moved to Woodland.

Sadly, even cities have been neglecting on making skate park renovations.

Where do young kids go for fun these days? Movie theaters, bowling, and skate parks is pretty much it in same places if you take away the skating rinks and mini golf.
Too many kids are becoming 'cell-phone-zombies'! They spend all their time on the phone.

I hope all these fun places don't disappear because besides the horrible climate here in Ohio the lack of go-kart,mini-golf,and such places for my son to take his tween daughter to,is the second reason we want to leave Ohio and move to California!
