Rule #1 All visitors to the State and new residents shall pay for dinner for long term California residents when meeting them for the first time. \

Rule #2 If at a bar or night club, new residents buy the first round. (I don't drink so you can feel free to get my Pepsi.)

Well, here's the thing: Not knowing what rules and laws you're used to, we can't really provide you with a list of what's different. Are you a traveler? Then do what you'd do when visiting a foreign country: Read the signs, follow the crowd, be a little bit humble - and things will turn out fine.
