I am wondering how many cities we can come up with that have created new urbanism communities and here is my list to start off at:

Los Angeles
San Francisco
Long Beach
Oakland
San Jose
Sacramento
San Diego
San Luis Obispo
Santa Barbara
Santa Cruz
Berkeley
Palo Alto
Davis
Chico
Arcata....

Santa Monica, is obsessed with walk ability and other properties of New Urbanism, but I don't think they have a large enough plot of land remaining to really create a neighborhood from scratch- more like infill type projects..
