Kinda envious of you, Derek. I'm hoping to work out my new camera before I head on out to the Grapevine to take some photos of the spring flowers next month.

Nice pic, highnlite.

Tim,

You'll have plenty of opportunities for shooting down around your parts. Last year I ended up traveling south to catch some great blooms not too far from you. Best were:

* Gorman Post Rd/ AV Poppy Reserve
* Carrizo Plain

Did you see that the latest new on the Tejon Ranch? It looks like they will be letting a select number on ppl onto the ranch during wildflower season.

Also Fresno, the Blossom Trail, and the Sierra Foothills should be getting good soon.

Springtime is here!

I just got back from a weekend trip from the Blossom Trail in Frenso. There were quite a few trees in full bloom as well as wildflowers in the surrounding areas. In some fields it was actually raining flower petals so my kids had a great time as well. Here are a few photos of the trip.

Your pictures are absolutely beautiful, I hope you enter some into photography competitions. I have never seen a tree tunnel picture of blossoms like your first pic, it is stunning and is an award winner for sure, in my opinion.

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed the images.

C2ShiningC, this was the first time I've seen a tunnel of flowering trees like this myself. It was pretty cool to share with my kids.
