We are a couple with 2 young children, and are interested in moving from Encinitas (north San Diego) to the Santa Rosa area. Its great down here, but we are looking for somewhere with a little bit smaller-town feel, more interested in "green-living", more family-friendly feel, and slightly more fluctuations in weather. We would love to live in a planned, eco-friendly community, but that is not an absolute necessity. I am in the alternative-healing business, and my husband is an eco-consultant and can work from anywhere near an airport. Does anyone have an opinion on Santa Rosa or the surrounding communities? Thanks!
