Battenkill river / other river floats (Buffalo, Troy: how much, where to, boat)

I was wondering if anyone had info on the battenkill river in Troy for lazy river tubing .

I did the tubby tubes in lake Luzerne but it was only an hour and too structured .

Looking for somewhere I can float down a river for 2-3 hours with a cooler of beer in tow .

If anyone knows where to go in battenkill, how much where to start and end etc . Thanks
