Seems I need official drawings from an engineer in order to connect a property to the City's sewer system. No way around that.

Right now the building has a septic tank (which is really at the end of its life), but in the last half-century the area around it has become urban and there's a municipal sewer passing nearby now, so I'd like to make that switch once and for all.

This is always the kind of expense I find a bit useless (honestly - that person is essentially just going to rubber-stamp the plan that has one sewer line of the same diameter that currently exits the building, now going into a tee in the City's sewer line...) so if anyone knows anyone who wouldn't charge too much for this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

lio45, does the city have a civil engineer on staff that would do this for you?
