Relocating from Minnesota to Melbourne

I still have stuff in boxes (likely dishes, towels, some family household items) that are still n boxes from my last move 10 years ago. I believe moving them again would be crazy, so "The Purge" is the way to go. I find it easier in a way if my wife, who may have had no connections to said items, gets rid of it. The less I know, the easier to deal with it. If we haven't even unloaded a 10 year old box, why hold on to it?
With hung clothes, a simple rule. If not worn in 12 months or more, donate it. A trick to use if your not sure. Start the calendar on the 1st of the month. Turn every hanger one way. When you wear something, turn the hanger the other way (and continue to keep that item in the other way). At the end of a set time period (3, 6 or 12 months) whatever hangers are still in the original position can go. Sounds easy and it will likely be an eye opener as to what is worn and what is not.
