Left a message but I was way too late. Always forget to look at the posting dates. Nevermind.

Do you have all your teeth? If so...would recommend Worcester...apparently pickin' are slim out there and you might luck out!

If you're looking for a single professional kind of life with a dose of urban atmosphere around you, check out parts of Jamaica Plain and Roslindale, the Coolidge Corner or Brookline Village neighborhoods in Brookline, maybe the upper end of West Roxbury. If you'd prefer an area that's a bit more suburban but still has some good restaurants and local small stores selling an eclectic array of goods a quick walk down the street from you, then some sections of Newton would be worth a look, maybe Newton Centre and West Newton for starters.

In order for anyone here to really nail down the best possibilities for you, we'd need more details on what you're looking for: the kind of character you'd like your neighborhood to have, your housing budget, whether you'll have a car, and your preferred commuting time. My suggestions above are the first areas that come to mind that generally seem like places that would appeal to many single people your age and which are close or somewhat close to Dedham. There could be a lot of fine-tuning, though, depending on the details of what you're looking for.

By the way, you might want to start a new thread with your questions. Tagging onto the end of this thread might mean that a lot of people will not see your question, since they may not read that far when they see how old the thread is.
