Good Day All

I am moving to Boston within the next 2 months and was wondering on dining options and variety in Boston. Is considered a city with alot of good dining options and diffrent variety ? I am asking because I am coming from Miami which as a vast array of diffrent cultures from Latin America , Carribeann and even some Europe all with their own variations and twists. This gives Miami residents alot of choices and a chance to try many authentic dishes frommany place. They range from upscale restaurants in the beach , to local carts on roadsides that provide authentic & delicous fare.... Can anyone help me out ? I consider myself a foodie and food is my hobbie/passion and was wondering what I was gettin into in " The Bean " ? Any feedback is appreciated...

Everyone I've dated in Boston has been a foodie- either a culinary school dropout, food critic, or wannabe amateur connoisseur. :P There's a great variety in Boston. There are quite a few good Hispanic restaurants (which is my favorite) ranging from the side street taqueria to 4 star fancy dining. Chinatown is one of the most exciting parts of Boston for me because there's so much to explore from dim sum to bakeries, to mysterious grocery stores. There's a great ethnic mix as well. Not to mention that for the gormet, there's the famous Savenor's in Cambridge and Boston.
