Dianne Gubin - an executive recruiter in L.A. (used to head up Women in Technology's L.A. chapter) has a new book out teaching women out to network to get ahead. I read a review copy and think it's great - especially in "tough to get ahead" times. She'll be signing and meeting folks in L.A. at the Honor a Hero event on Sept. 17 - if you haven't met her, it's really worth the time. Great advice for women in business. Also started new movement called "Let's Keep America Working!" that will cover all things work-related.
