"Harry Potter" fans brace yourselves. The wizardry tales of "Beedle the Bard" -- mentioned in the final book "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" -- are handwritten and the illustrations are by J.K. Rowling herself. But here's the catch: Only seven of the books exist in the world!
Caught this on GMA this very morning. Diane Sawyer and her crew had one copy of the book, which is to be auctioned by Sotheby's in London, with the proceeds going to a children's charity. They were handling the copy they had with white gloves, and the news fellow (his name eludes me right now) read just a few pages and shared several of the illustrations, on air. Supposedly, the six other hand-written copies were for friends of Rowling's. The book was beautiful -- leather cover with some silver embellishments.
