I know there is a Movie forum, but I wanted to post this on the Book Forum to see what book readers had to say about the Life of Pi movie.
I'm a huge fan of the book and was apprehensive to see it transformed into a movie, but Ang Lee seldom misses, so I took the chance and I'm so glad I did - loved the movie! I will always like books more than movies (only one minor exception), but really enjoyed this adaptation. I think it kept the Life of Pi magic and brought it to life in ways that even my visual imagination can't.
