I've been thinking about ditching ATT and trying T-Mobile. I haven't been impressed with coverage in the valley so I figure I don't have much to lose trying T-Mobile. It's definitely adequate, but not as good as Verizon for the same price. That and I don't much care for the company. I've been reading some encouraging feedback about improvement over the years so it might be time. I was also seeing the expansion and improvements in the Billings area regarding the new spectrum purchase so I'm encouraged over all about T-mobile's commitment to expanding coverage.
I live in Eagle near Eagle Road and Floating Feather, and right near where we live there's a definite Verizon dead spot. The coverage in my house is ok, but sending pictures, especially to group texts, is awful. They will take forever to send, and fail much of the time. Once I pull out of my driveway I have no coverage for probably a quarter of a mile in each direction.
Away from my house it seems fine.
My work phone is an AT&T phone, and I haven't noticed the AT&T coverage being any worse than Verizon, and definitely much better at home or in the neighborhood.
