I live in Pelham, and we can get downtown in about 25 minutes going 65-N. The whole area out by 280 is a nightmare for driving. I recently took a job in Moody, and my co-workers couldn't believe I would make such a long drive. I tried to explain to them that getting from my house to Moody (going 65, then 4-59 to I-20) still takes the same amount of time that it used to take me to get from here to my old office on 280 & 119, even though that office was much closer, physically (even going down 119 is a problem with so many schools back in that area and one lane to work with). Even though other area may seem like a longer distance to you, trust me, there are lots of places on the outskirts of town with a shorter driving time than anything on 280.

Was there a particular reason you were interested in Chelsea....maybe we could suggest an alternative community that would suit your taste and also be a shorter commute
