Good for the Phillies, always takes some of the sting out of the frustration of watching the club long ago when they battled to get out of the cellar.

Makes you really appreciate how special this is.

As a fan of the Yankees, I was pulling for the Rays to support the division. (No, I wouldn't have supported the Red Sox if they made it to the WS .) That said, congrats to the Phillies for winning the WS and breaking the 25-year curse on Philly. Too bad the WS didn't go 6 or 7 games.

On a funny note, Phillysucks.com - Philly Sucks - Where suckage is a way of life.... ended its 25-year counter of suckage and have proclaimed "phinally!"
