We just got the first WYPR summer concert in Patterson Park. A wonderful crowd nice music. The most delightful thing was to see so many corners of the park outside the concert area occupied people with blankets on the lawn, just having a great time.

I'm always amazed how many kids there are at these concerts. Give me hope that my wife and I can raise our daughter in the city.

It's not only possible but according to my son, preferable. He often thanks me that I gave him the opportunity to grow up in the city. Of course, school choice and lots of talks help this along.
