Hi guys,

I have a new job here. I'm looking for an apartment outside of the 695 loop (preferably). My budget is $1200 max. And my only real requirement besides not being in a neighborhood where I'll get robbed is that i'm not forced to use Comcast/Xfinity for internet.

Location of job? General direction from the beltway?

I work in the Hunt Valley/Cockeyesville area. If I could find something closer to work, that would be great. But it's definitely not a deal breaker if it's futher out.

That won't be a problem.

I thought Comcast was bad until I came here and had to deal with TWC (now Spectrum).

I live in Cockeysville. You cant find an apartment around here? They are friggin everywhere.
Your problem is cost. I am not sure what you can get a one bedroom for. Everything around here is expensive.
Except Rossbrooke which is a dump!

Yeah, i’m noticing that. I can’t find a decent place around here without spending $1500+ per month. At this point I don’t even care about Comcast or Verizon anymore, I simply want a place that is halfway decent (meaning not in the hood) at my price range.

And even THAT is starting to become a challenge to find.

Look into the sharing situations.

As to budget... target one WEEKLY net check to cover all MONTHLY housing costs.

Yeah, my Grandfather did that during the great depression.

You could check over near Satyr Hill. https://www.apartmentguide.com/apart...rtments/11809/

Somewhere in a nicer area of Parkville, or even near Kingsville.

You may even want to check out that oddball neighborhood over there right off of Joppa Road just east of Arnolia Church, just passed the 695 overpass. It's an odd little place, and ****, you might find a small house back there. Who knows.

I made the bad decision of singing a lease at Rossbrooke. Wish me luck everyone, probably going to need it.
