M3 is your best bet. Plenty of room for 2 more adults and an awesome car to drive.

I would go with a mustang GT not as refined as the other cars but still a blast to drive and is cheaper to purchase and maintain and tons of mods to make it more fun to drive.

Ive looked at the BMW 2006 645ci, 2007 330ci, Jaguar XK, Mustang GT and Dodge Charger, I have to say that while I wish I would like the domestic cars, the european cars are much more seductive looking. I am going to try a Mercedes CLK but they dont come with a manual transmission. I think I am just going to be out of luck because I dont think there is a really sporty 4 seater convertible. However, the BMW has come the closest so far. Anyone ever drive an Audi??

You can't get a real sports convertible with 4 real seats for under $30,000.
You can however get a convertible with 4 real seats, you just can't get a performance convertible with elegant and aggressive stying (i.e. european) for that kind of money. If you can spend a little more, I would definitely consider the BMW M3 convertible, described by car and driver as "the world's best four seat sport convertible 2008 BMW M3 Convertible - Short Take Road Test - Auto Reviews - Car and Driver

Try driving a John Cooper Works Mini Cooper Convertible. There's not a lot of luggage room, but they do have 4 usable seats and a manual transmission. Made in Oxford, England by BMW.

ETA: Oops, I didn't realize this thread is old. You've probably bought something by now.

What do you mean by top 10 clunker replacements and which Fords were in it?

Also, either get a Mustang GT or a classic. For $30 grand you could get an awesome classic convertible in great shape.
