GM tries to pitch Camaro to gay men - Top Stocks Blog - MSN Money
The models lean seductively over the hood of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, wearing only tiny yellow underwear emblazoned with the car's logo. Grasping a wash cloth, they rub down the car until it sparkles as an unseen cameraman asks about the car.
The
videos, broadcast on YouTube, use sex appeal to sell Camaros to guys. Only the models aren't women, they're men.
The racy commercials are part of a new advertising campaign targeting gay, bisexual and transgender Americans.

Are the Camaro's going to be painted like a rainbow?
And have open exhausts with a positive grip rear end?
Tell me it ain't so.

Perhaps the front grill will include the triangle in place of the chevy bowtie and in place of pinstripes they'll have rainbow stripes on the side and down the center. Don't laugh. I know someone who found rainbow pinstripes and put them on her car to celebrate her homosexuality and it was a 90s model Camaro. Even has a rainbow air freshener.

This could be a mistake. The Pontiac G6 wasn't a bad car and looked pretty good as a coupe but it was forever known as the Oprah car.

I think it's a good idea. If they've got money, throw 'em a sales pitch.

I'm sure the 304 Hp 6 cylinder will be a better choice as well instead of the 420 hp 8 cylinder.

Well, GM could always flashback to the 80s when the F-bodies had the Iron Duke I4 in them...

Oh I get it. Because gay people can't handle a big motor huh? I see, you think all gay people walk around wearing dresses and painted nails huh? Ok ok, that’s cool. Nothing wrong with being a homophobe. Thanks for the laugh buddy, not so much the joke but the over abundance of ignorance.
