Although they are normal everyday drivers, I take a lot of pride in maintaining the look of our family vehicles; even going so far as to park way out in parking lots just to be by myself (only taking one spot ), we have one that has never been out in the rain, etc.

Well, someone parked a F350 stake body truck next to my full sized p/u one day at work and when I came out there was evidence of my truck being struck by an errant door (from that truck).

The doorstrike left a small "crease" or "elongated dimple" looking dent about one inch tall on the front fender of my truck. There are no scratches and I buffed the white paint residue from the area. It's not a bad dent; more like an oversized ding.

Is this something that can be pulled out or repaired inexpensively? My truck is a 2004 with 80K. This is the first mark on the body and it really gets my craw everytime I see it.

I have seen some great results by the "painless dent removal" method. They use a probe to the inside and lightly hammer it out. Call around and see if any body shops have someone doing it.

I've seen a hot & cold treatment used on hail damage and it pulled the dings right out. I do not know if it will work on yours.

I had the paintless dent removal done on a couple small dings on my car. It was very affordable and you can't tell there was ever a dent there! Well worth checking into!
