1959 was a year of wild styling for all cars and GM was no exception. 1959 GM cars are some of my all-time favorite styled cars... so unique in their own way.
Here are the top of the line trim models from each GM make in 1959. There were a couple of higher trim line Cadillacs that is shown (DeVille is shown, but there were also the Fleetwood 60 Special and Eldorado Brougham sedan, but shown is the DeVille).
Which one of these wild styled cars is your favorite? You may choose more than one, I know I will.

Pontiac Bonneville Vista
Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight holiday
Buick Electra 225
Cadillac Sedan DeVille
Wow, what cars.
I would have to go for the Pontiac Bonneville's, I've always liked the 1959 GM cars alot, I personally favor them over the 1957's, what were the powertrains for the Oldsmobile's and the Pontiac's?

I like them all, but lean more toward the Impala, Electra and DeVille, but still really like the Bonneville and Ninety-Eight, but I tried to limit myself to only voting for three.
The engines.... hmmm... lets see. I know the Olds had 371's and 394's. I had a 60 Olds Super 88 with a 394. The base Dynamic 88s had the smaller engine.

Was your 1960 Olds Super 88 an automatic tranny or a 3 on the tree?
