2011 Chevrolet Cruze First Drive on Inside Line
Looks like Chevy is following the example of Toyota in making their small car look like a smaller version of their midsize sedan. From the numbers, it looks like the Cruze is aimed at the Corolla. No real performance version in this model. The interior looks light years ahead of the Cobalt. Exterior styling is bland but then again, so's the Corolla which is still a big seller world wide. Though it's engine is weaker than the outgoing cobalt, the cruze is lighter than the cobalt but they said it feels more solid. Once again, Europe and Asia get it before we do. We don't get it till next year (2011 model) but Europe and Asia get it now. Thanks GM for showing us your disdain once again.

Styling wise, that doen't look bad, kind of an agressive stance. Not nearly as bland as the Corllla IMO.

That does look way better then Corolla. Reminds alot of the Malibu. That interior is nice, too! Still quite a bit of plastic like it's brother the Cobalt.

I like it... lets just hope the USA version is not all different like we have seen in the past. I still think that $15,500 for a base model is a bit steep... lets hope they do like a $14,500 base price.... MAYBE then I could afford one. I remember when entry level Chevrolets (only about 8-12 years ago) started around $10K-12K. I had a friend in high school that bought a brand new 1993 Cavalier for like $10,900 and that was with automatic and air.
