After riding a motorcycle for a while I am a fan of LEDs. How about those "hyperwhite" headlights that blind oncoming traffic?

Many of those lights are improperly aimed.

Yeah my dad taught me how important it is to have your headlights aimed properly. But aren't they just changing the bulbs?

Yes, many, if not most, are just putting in the HID bulb, ballast, and igniter, without actually changing the housing. This usually causes a scattered output instead of the nice clean lines you see with projectors. You can pick up HID kits for cheap on ebay. The problem is that the HID bulb has a different focal point than the halogen it replaced. Here is a picture, now imagine it in 3D, and imagine what happens when you move the focal point.

Yeah, blacked out taillights on a front-wheel drive 4-cyl compact Honda isn't rice.

There are only two non-rice Hondas.. cars with real drivetrains.. the S2000 and NSX.

i learned that a way to align headlights in the dark by driving up to your garage door and adjusting them until i can get them adjusted pretty well. I know its probably not the best way to do it huh, i should probably learn the proper way to adjust them. haha
