You can buy a house for 94,000 dollars which goes up in price over time.
In a move that's being called "outrageous" and "luxury on steroids," Ford has debuted a new pickup truck ... that costs $94,445. To be fair, you don't have to spend nearly $100,000 to get your hands on a 2018 F-450 Super Duty Limited truck, but should you "check every option box," as Ford puts it in a press release, that is how much you'll spend.
No, I will not spend nearly $100,000 on a truck!
I do not need a new truck, my old 1999 model gets me there and back just fine.
I most definitely have no need for an F-450. My 2500 does everything I need to do. I got rid of my 3500 because it was too much truck for my needs!
I'm sure there will be some people who will buy the thing, but I will not be one of them!
No thanks I am a ford fan but i dont want a 94k truck i rather just use my 2004 regular cab long bed F350 DRW 4x4 instead
of this expensive truck because i dont care about expensive trucks i have the cheapest truck with no options except for long bed DRW and 4x4 all of witch i need for my job i use my truck for work unlike most of the trucks i see

I don't get the whole "pickup as a luxury vehicle" thing, but many folks do. Witness the droves of $60K+ trucks roaming the highways and byways. The notion of paying that much for a utility vehicle baffles me, but "luxury" trucks are cash cows for manufacturers. There's very little engineering involved. Just slather leather on an existing platform and jack up the price. It's a great business model.

Unfortunately, your aren't representative of most pickup buyers. I'm like you: I own a truck for a specific purpose and have the most basic one that meets my needs. It's not a fashion statement, it's a tool. People who are willing to shell out $100K for a truck are coming at it from an entirely different perspective.
Well one would think that a F450 would be put to work and will earn its keep but still $94,000 !
You can buy a house for that !
I built and bought a top of the line F150 Supercrew Lariat with every option but the side steps and DVD back in 2002 and the sticker was $38,000. I was working at the dealer so I got the employee pricing which saved me thousands.
Today to replace my truck we are talking $65,000 !
That is stupid money for a truck that occasionally hauls a boat, firewood, lumber, tools and landscaping stuff.
I plan on keeping my truck for many more years and with only 85,000 miles I hope that will be many more years.
At these new truck prices it has to be.
