I hope they pull it off and it's a great show, more good car shows is a win for the viewers. Hopefully something much better than his short lived "Lost in Transmission" show.
I doubt I catch it. Nothing against their fans. Rutledge used to post on the VWvortex site. I'm not sure if he still does. He seemed a nice enough guy. I just never gained an interest.
I only caught one episode on youtube--the one where they go on a trip to Alaska. Seemed ok. But all the reviews on USA Top Gear kept me from watching. Good luck to them though.
I actually really liked it. Having a professional race car driver helped make it, Adam was funny, Rutledge I wasn't a fan, but I liked how they got along. The episode where they drove semi's with trailers through town and hit a parked car was hilarious!
top gear USA was a lesser top gear UK when clarckson, may and hammond were on the show. i think if top gear USA were to come back they would be better than the current top gear UK.
at ffirst i wasnt impressed with this group. but they started to develop a decent chemistry as the show progressed. it might be interesting to see what they have in mind for a new show.
The race driver seemed like a whiny douchebag. Even his voice annoyed me. Truthfully, I have a partial hearing loss and certain high frequencies are painful and his voice hit a few of those frequencies.

well its all the same franchise anyway, be it top gear UK, top gear germany, top gear australia, or top gear USA/america. but really a journalist from fifth gear on the show? if its the one i am thinking about, he is very dry when talking about cars, the kind of dry that puts people to sleep. we shall see.
