Funny you mention oil change sticker. I just ordered a batch of them from ebay. I change oil on all three of our household cars. I keep an excel spreadsheet of maintenance but sometimes forget when the last oil change occurred. Now I just put the sticker and it reminds myself or my family when to change it out.

No stickers. Never give anybody any reason to want to do anything to you or your car.

I recently removed the manufacturer provided stickers on my vehicle. Being badge-less/sticker-less was kind of cool last week when I washed and waxed my vehicle... a lot fewer edges to worry about/clean around!

I used to have University-related stickers for my prior vehicle's rear windows, and I've also done the custom family stick figure thing... I feel like my latest vehicle is simply too cool for that *broad grin*.

Nearly every other car I see where I live has a my exceptional kid got a gold star in school so I need this bumper sticker to let everyone know they were the super gifted student of the day/week/month/year. It's comforting knowing I live amongst such genius.

I just use the trip reset button for that. Granted, I am the only one driving the vehicles, but it does make it easy to know how many miles since the last change

Reminds me of an old car commercial. This guy is washing his brand new car (I don't remember the model) and his son comes running up to him with a bumper sticker saying "honor student". His son says, "Can we put it on your car?". Dad replies, "we'll put it on your mothers car when she gets home." Funny commercial

I've never had bumper stickers on my car, for several reasons:

1) I feel the sticker(s) would be tough to take off, and would leave behind a gummy residue.

2) I know (from the experience of others') that certain folks are enraged/upset by certain bumper stickers. About 30 years ago, I heard a story about someone who was actually followed for a while by some creeps - presumably because of a bumper sticker on the person's car.

That all being said, I always thought this was funny:

Original bumper sticker some companies used to have on the back of their trucks:

If you don't like my driving, call 1-800-XXX-XXXX

The bumper sticker making fun of/mocking the above:

If you don't like my driving, call 1-800-EAT-$##%
