Bought the focus yesterday at a Volkswagen dealership in San Antonio. Said they took it on a trade in. Clean carfax, drove fine. Few interior and exterior flaws, but nothing major. 24 hours later the car leaves me stranded in a walmart parking lot. Car won't turn over. Just clicks. Battery looks new. Connections were tight. Color me frustrated. Glad I purchased the warranty they offered. Hopefully they do me right tomorrow

Terrible. If I were you and had only 6500 to spend on a vehicle and no option to finance one I would have bought one from a private owner and had my mechanic look it over thoroughly before I pulled the trigger. Good luck with your new (dead) car.

No lemon law will apply for a single instance of no-start. A reputable dealer will work with a customer if he only had the vehicle a day, and maybe not repair at no charge, but certainly identify and discount a repair.
