I thought it was a great story.I have heard of other folks saving there change and making a big purchase.Its a good lesson for youngsters that saving does come to something.I bought my first motorcycle with money saved in a drawer.But not all change.Just nice to hear something nice.Thanks for posting
I save all of my change except for the pennies. Last year it was about $600 worth. I haven't rolled it yet (which, admittedly, is the toughest part) but eventually I'll get around to it and when added to this year's change - something nice will come of it. Painless way to accumulate money, really. My hat's off to that guy.
I grew up in the area where this happened, and every few years he does this. This was not his second time doing this. Pretty cool if you ask me
