I may be soon buying a certain kind of car I've always wanted. They don't make them any more, but there are used-car examples around. years are around 1993-1995.
Does anyone know of an "extended warranty" you can buy, either from a delaer or from an outside agency, for a used car of that age?
I know they aren't really "warranties". They're more like insurance on specific covered parts (drive train and/or body sheetmetal and/or electrical etc.), so that if those parts break within a certain time (1 year or etc.) after purchase, they pay most or all of the repair expense.
But this might still be an attractive option for the car I'm thinking of.
Anybody have any knowledge or experience with such "Used-car warranties"?
