here near Baltimore we didn't lose power, though a LOT of people in the area did. No damage to cars or house, though we did have a huge limb come down nearly missing the house and deck, and instead smashing the BBQ grille to bits. All in all, not a bad situation to be in all things considered.
I had the camping generator all gassed up with spare gas can filled, and extra extension cords to run the sump pump and fridge. Rather have them on hand a not need them than need them and not have them.
