At this point, I wouldn't mind any of the 12 guys winning the Chase now that there's no way Shrub can win it. Well, I'm not really big on Vickers, but since he is the anti-Shrub, his stock has gone up!
I'd also rather not see JG get #5 or JJ get #4. They'd be getting too close to 7 trophies, which is something that I hold in high regard and personally hope no other driver can match or beat.
I think I want to see MM take the championship. He is a class act and mature figure in the sport. BTW, he has paid his dues as well. Good luck Mark!!! Go Bowties!
Jeff Gordon will win his 5th Championship in November.
- Jeff has been very consistent the past 26 races.
- The 24 has done very well in the type of tracks that are in the Chase
- They have shown that they can do well now on all types of tracks
- Jeff is "due" a championship. He would have had two more, in '04 & '07 if NASCAR stayed with the old points system.
- Steve Latarte is also "due" having been in Chad Knauss' shadow for too long
- The 24 team is in Championship mode. They will get at least one more win and just need to finish in top 5's like they have most of the year so far.
yeah kurt aint going to do well. i am praying stewart does bad too
I'm curious why you don't want Tony to do well. I think Tony has done a 180 in his attitude. He acts much more professional now since he is an owner/driver.
I think it's amazing that both cars in his team are in the Chase in their first year. There are teams that never have never been in or close to being in the Chase since it began in 2004.
Well Jeff started out strong, but fell off later in the race. Hope he bounces back big time in Dover or it looks like Mark may run away with this thing. Mark and his #5 team are really a class act!
As much as we like Jeff Gordon,Jimmy Johnson and Tony Stewart it would be nice to see Mark Martin win and got to give it to Juan Pablo Montoya this year for getting in the Chase.

Wow your right maybe he should've created his own team sooner lol
