I think a "sport" can be defined by physical activity or skill that has a set of rules and often competitive in nature. Using the word skill vs. physical would make it by definition a sport. What other category would it fall under? It isn't a game and the words hobby or pastime don't really work either. Maybe there should be a new classification for it but I still think there is enough physicality to it that it fits the word "sport" because of the way in which it is scored, ranked, won and overall organized.
Driving up to 200mph & driving within inches of other cars for 4 hrs or so, along with the g-forces and hot temps in the car I think it's a mental and physical sport.

You just proved my point: If two F-16's are doing battle it's at high speeds, very hot in cockpit and alot of physical and mental stresses but not a sport. You do endure some factors as G forces, reaction time but NOT A SPORT.

True, but add the fact that there is competition and rules in racing then I think it makes it a sport.

If 2 F-16's are doing battle that's called war or practicing for it.
Some people say it is. I do not hunt so I know nothing about it to give an opinion on it.
