Floracing has replaced The Cup cars for me. Whelen Modifieds in the Northeast, late models at Hickory and New Boston, USAC in the Midwest.
The "modifieds" have been my main interest since the early 1960s. However, even they, sadly, have succumbed to the "cookie cutter" state, that I've spoken against....

RE: streaming - it is what it is. I still think the sport would benefit greatly from cutting the dead weight out of the schedule. They really don't need any more than about 24 points-paying races per year. I used to watch religiously, and now and maybe watch 5 to 10 races a year. It's not an exciting product.

Agree.
NASCAR does not seem to care about listening to it's core fans. Now they are looking to take their broken product and expanding it to other countries like Brazil.
Two thirds of the races in 2025 will not be on broadcast TV, so you will need the dinosaur cable TV to watch an entire season.
But it's 5 races that I won't be watching. And I still have "dinosaur cable", so hopefully I'll be able to see the rest of them.
