Funny listening to the Fox promos for the Clash. You’d be led to believe it was one of the top events of the year.

He's a good one. I'd guess that him not being there might be a good reason that Blaney didn't win a race last year.

Well stated. The fans reactions that day was something to remember. Me too at home, lol.

If NASCAR listens to drivers from a recent short track test, they may shorten or totally remove the rear spoiler for those races this year. Should make for better racing at short tracks which had some of the worst racing last year.

Denny Hamlin suggests a change to the playoff format. Instead of a final single race, have a final round with 4 races.

Having only 2 races before the elimination.. I mean, that makes it really hard for someone at the bottom to climb in, even if the people at the top have problems. It's.. Almost worthless to have.

I'd almost say start the playoffs earlier. I'm fine with the idea here.. But I'd perhaps have 16 drivers, 4 races to eliminate the bottom 8.. Another 4 races, eliminate the bottom 4 and 4 races to decide the championship between 4 drivers.

So, basically start the chase 2 races early. I like the idea of 4 drivers competing at the end. Don't think we need to expand that.

FWIW.. I'm fairly certain that everyone has heard that Hamlin has joined Dirty Mo Media and has his own podcast on there now.. I believe they named it "Actions Detrimental".. Everyone seems to just be waiting on the first fine to come out of it.

Im really looking forward to that. I foresee a change in the way NASCAR as a whole runs. Teams need to be guaranteed a piece of the TV pie. They are the product, not the league organization itself.

Hes just pissed because Ross knocked him out last year. If he would race half as hard as he whines he might actaully win a championship, but until he buckles down, and focuses on one thing instead of 2311, being a radio DJ, and whining about losing he will never have that Cup. The system is stupid enough as it is, no need to screw it up even more because the likes of Dale, Jr and Denny Hamlin want it to be "better". Jr should shut up and deal with his own series and quit worrying about Nascar.

When Jr talks, NASCAR listens.
