An open QUALITY seat.

I think it's already established that it's going to Briscoe, tho.

Or does Stewart Haas put Briscoe in the GOFAS seat and make a play for Larson now?

Better chance of getting Larson in that seat, IMO. GoFAS has very few 'traditional' sponsors.

Some of them, might welcome the attention.

FWIW... The Cup race was decent. The Xfinity race was a comedy show. I get running in the rain, but I was thinking more a slow, steady rain. Not the downpour that happened.

The track wasn't up to being run on with all the standing water. I have no doubt the Smiths will correct the issues to make it better. But I think there's limits as to how good it can be.

Pretty sure Stewart-HAAS will go with Briscoe. Kyle would be a natural fit due to him and Tony's dirt racing ties, but Briscoe offers stability for at least a decade or more.

Still pinning my hopes of seeing Kyle in an HMS car. Although not the 88, but 25 or 5 or maybe in 57 if HMS can get that number. That would give him a "clean" start. Just have to bring Chevy along in agreement and Hendrick has that power.

BTW, Bowman is only signed for one year in the 48. HMS needs a good veteran driver.

Briscoe is going in the 14. I think that's a given. But, the GoFAS is still open, and.. I could see that as a landing spot for Larson.

But.. The money right now is on HMS. The fact they shifted Bowman over to the 48.. That tells me that Ally said no to Larson, but Hendrick is going to bring him in.

And, he applied for reinstatement today.

HMS has been very hush hush and word is there have been some meetings that were hush hush there. Which.. Leads me to believe that Larson is going in the 24. Question is.. Who are the sponsors? I agree that Hendrick can convince Chevy.. And.. Hendrick can put HendrickCars.com on the car for a year with no real issues..

Chevy has said that they support NASCAR's decision to reinstate Kyle Larson.

Now we are just waiting on Rick Hendrick (or Jeff Gordon) to make the announcement that Kyle will be driving the 5 car.

And that is going to make for a good young foursome for Hendrck for years to come. Larson is going to be a great addition to the Hendrick stable.

His SMART play.. There's going to be some quality xFinity series rides open. He should go for one of those, spend a couple or three years there and come back.

He came up too quickly.

He's only run 24 races in the lower series. And all his cup rides have been third tier (BK, GoFAS, etc)

He should land himself a quality xFinity ride, prove himself and then he'll get another shot in Cup with a quality team.

What ACTUALLY happens? he lands at Front Row. That's my guess.
