Fine with me as long as it is still televised.

The TV money is the only thing keeping NASCAR afloat right now. It's the main reason why NASCAR initially ignored and then made a million excuses for declining ratings and attendance. Track owners are making more from the TV deal than they are from gate revenue. If that goes away NASCAR will have no choice but to drastically cut the schedule. TBH I think they should cut the schedule by 1/3 anyway. There's no need for them to go to most of the tracks twice a year.

It won't surprise me at all if, within the next 1-3 years, the France family sells NASCAR to a media conglomerate like Comcast (like F-1 did with Liberty Media). It's the only way I see the races staying on broadcast & cable.

I watched the 12 hours at Sebring and was imaging them stopping the race every 3 hours to award points. But at least I didn't have to listen to 'Larry', a reason I don't watch NASCAR on FOX. He is really annoying. At least he's no longer in the booth.
Have you noticed that the camera people don't show the stands anymore? They don't want us to see the fans disguised as empty seats.

Kyle Busch gets boos because of the way he acts, not the way he drives. He needs to grow up if he wants to earn a man's respect.
