Who do you guys think will become the drivers of Manor Racing and the 2nd driver of Sauber?
2016 F1 Drivers not under contract: Felipe Nasr, Esteban Gutierrez, Pascal Wehrlein, Rio Haryanto.
Do you guys think any of these drivers will get signed by Sauber/Manor or will there be newcomers or a former F1 driver coming back like Kubica/Kobayashi?
Will not be surprised if Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso retire after next season.
I think Fernado should join Mercedes. That would be interesting . Teflonso is still one of the best drivers out there.
World Champions - retirement
Schumacher: (37) 43
Prost: 38 - World Champion the year he retired
Mansell: 42
Stewart: 34 - World Champion the year he retired
Lauda: (30) 36
Fangio: (40) 47
Piquet: 39
Hill: 39
Häkkinen: 33
Surely negotiations are in overdrive behind the scenes. All star drivers (think Vettel, Ricciardo, Verstappen, Alonso) are under contract... They will probably go with a solid driver that won't threaten Hamilton, like Bottas or Hulkenberg, on a 1 year contract.
I'm also guessing that Vettel and Alonso had team performance escape clauses that could allow them to break their contracts shall Mercedes contact them.
An outside chance is Button... just retired, still pretty fast, can keep Lewis honest without actually beating him and the experience needed to develop the car during a rules transition year like 2017.
And, unsurprisingly, it is Bottas for Mercedes and Massa comes back out of retirement for Williams. If you can call finishing the last race of 2016 and starting the testing and races of 2017 a "retirement."

Bernie made F1 what it is today and for that he reserves recognition, but he was not the right man to lead it in this day and age. I hope Liberty Media's plans for F1 are exciting... we need simpler rules, better access for fans attending the races and better digital assets (and hopefully a digital subscription to watch F1 without having to pay a pesky cable provider that bundles the channel with channels I don't want, or having to go through a pesky network that will replace 50% of the race with ads).
